Personal Story
My health journey began as a student-athlete at Furman University, where I studied Health and
Exercise Science and developed a deep appreciation for the connection between movement, nutrition, and overall well-being. After college, I became a cardiac nurse, driven by a desire to help patients heal and thrive. Even then, I felt a strong pull to share a more comprehensive message—that true healing often requires more than just medications and procedures.
During a break from nursing, I had the opportunity to walk alongside my husband through some health challenges, using an integrative approach. The transformation we witnessed firsthand was powerful and reaffirmed my belief in the body’s ability to heal when supported with the right tools. That experience led me to enroll in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and become a certified health coach. Today, I combine my clinical background with integrative health principles to guide others in nourishing their bodies, moving with joy, and embracing wellness in community. Nothing inspires me more than seeing people reclaim their health—and their lives.
